Aimersoft iTransfer is a tool for getting content off your iOS devices. The application supports iPods, iPads, and iPhones. You can use it to copy content from and to your iOS devices. You can backup your music, your videos, and even your photos. It requires iTunes to be installed to detect your devices. The application also comes with a video converter that has good format support.
When Aimersoft iTransfer finds your device, it will list under it all of its media categories, like music, videos, photos, etc. By clicking each one of those, you will see its contents. Copying a song or video to your computer is as easy as checking it and starting the process. All of this I could gather from the developer's website. My testing of this application wasn't as successful as I would have wanted it to be.
At first I wasn't able to get my device detected, so I reinstalled both iTunes and this application, and all I got for my trouble is an error that reads "Application Fault" and a crash report. Still my device isn't found. From what I could see from the screenshots on the website, the application has good filtering options and a good interface. It is a shame I couldn't get it to work.
iTransfer is currently on sale for $8. It is usually $19.95.
